The City of Soledad is moving toward district City Council Elections. Join us at this workshop to learn about how this will impact you, give your input, and have an opportunity to draw your own map.

The City of Soledad has historically held “at large” elections. This means that any city councilmember could run for office regardless of where they live within the city limits. Now, the city will move to district elections where in order to for someone to run for a council seat, they must live within the boundaries of that district.
