Each year Monterey County’s Violence Prevention Initiative in partnership with community partner organizations come together to host the My Life Story: Youth Violence Prevention and Intervention Conference. A conference which centers youth voice giving them the opportunity to take the stage and share lessons learned from their lived experience of having been involved in either the juvenile justice system, foster care system or having participated in programs offered by youth serving organizations.

This year, the conference will be hosted in Soledad on Friday, April 1st, 2022. There will be two youth panels and a parent panel. We hope that attendance is not cost prohibitive and there are scholarships available. Registration is $25.
