Cesar Chavez Park, a 0.1-acre common space, is located on Front Street.  Leased from Southern Pacific Railroad, this greenbelt serves as an attractive green buffer between Downtown Soledad and the train tracks.

This park was formerly named Front Street Park.  In 2007, the City Council passed a new name in honor of the prominent farmworker, Cesar Chavez.
