The Wastewater Operations section of the Water Quality Division is a 10-hour per day, 7-day a week, year-round operation responsible for:
- Performing maintenance and repairs to the infrastructure necessary to safely convey industrial, stormwater and sanitary sewer waste.
- Operation and maintenance of the City’s Water Reclamation Facility.
- Water quality protection activities that include infrastructure maintenance, water quality monitoring and illicit discharge prevention.
- Public education and outreach associated with Soledad’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit.
