On April 10, 2024, the City of Soledad, along with the County of Monterey and the Transportation Agency of Monterey County (TAMC), held a community meeting on the current state of roadway safety. Community members had the opportunity to hear about the updates to roads such as the change in the truck route, upcoming improvement plans such as more stop signs and roundabouts. TAMC guided a discussion on what the community wants for the roads in our town. Some ideas include more conversations about safety, bike lanes, road lane reductions, and more!
