Alert Monterey County is a system used by City and County public safety officials to deliver emergency notifications to all phone numbers and registered devices in a specific geographic area. All landline numbers are in the 9-1-1 database, however cell phone, VoIP phone and email addresses must be entered in the Alert Monterey County database in order to receive notification messages.
Step 1: Visit Alert Monterey County website.
Step 2: Enter your email and set up a password to have access to change your information in the future.
Step 3: Enter your address, cell or VoIP number and select how you would like to be contracted in case of an emergency.
