REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
for
REPLACEMENT TELEPHONE SYSTEM

The City of Soledad is requesting proposals for replacement and upgrading of the City’s existing 2006 era telephone system and peripheral devices. The current telephone system is located at City Hall and consists of an Avaya Communication Manager and Audix Voice Mail. It has an ISDN-PRI with 23 DID/DOD channels. Incoming calls to the Main Number terminate at an Auto-Attendant with option to select various departments. The caller has an option of entering the four-digit extension of the person they want to speak to or go to the Receptionist. This system supports City Administration, Police Department, Fire Department, all located in the same compound. In addition, the Community Center, the Corporation Yard and the Water Reclamation Facility each has its own Media Gateway slaved off the Avaya Communications Manager at City Hall via Point-to-Point T1s.
